When you start a company, picking a name can be as hard as setting up the business itself. This was true for my co-founder Louis and I when we founded the company in 2019. We needed a name that was easy to remember and reflected our mission.
Our first project was building the vendor risk management module. This set the stage for what we wanted our platform to achieve. Following this, our focus was on making our platform super user-friendly. We set ourselves a goal: allow users to complete a vendor risk assessment in just 6 clicks. That's how our users could assess a third party's risk without getting bogged down by complicated steps.
Then it hit us. Why not call our company "6clicks"? It's short, memorable, and it directly speaks to what our product does – it simplifies complex processes. It embodies our commitment to simplicity and efficiency, right in the name.
Choosing "6clicks" has been key to our identity. It tells our customers exactly what to expect: a streamlined, straightforward tool that makes cyber, risk, and compliance manageable and quick. Every time someone hears "6clicks," they think of rapid, hassle-free processes.
So, that's the story. Our name isn’t just a name—it’s a promise of efficiency and a reminder of our core focus.
