We are thrilled to announce some exciting updates to our Single Sign-On (SSO) capability, designed to improve your experience, boost productivity, and strengthen security. With new enhancements like just-in-time user and role provisioning, streamlined user access from Identity Providers (IdPs), and extensibility to support a wide range of IdPs, 6clicks SSO is now better than ever.
Here's a quick rundown of what's new:
Just-in-time user and role provisioning
Our new just-in-time provisioning feature enables you to automatically create and update user accounts and role assignments from your IdP. The creation or update is actioned when the user authenticates using SSO. This reduces the time spent on manual user management and ensures that your organization's user access is always up-to-date.
Streamlined user access from IdPs (Okta or Azure AD)
We understand that many of our users rely on Okta and Azure AD for identity management. To make your experience smoother, users can now access 6clicks with a single click from their Okta or Azure AD dashboard, reducing login friction and ensuring seamless, secure access.
Extensibility to support a wide range of IdPs
In addition to Okta and Azure AD, we've expanded our SSO functionality to support a wide range of IdPs. With our new extensible architecture, 6clicks SSO is now compatible with a variety of other IdPs, making it easier for organizations of all sizes to integrate our platform into their existing infrastructure.
Additional security layers
We take security very seriously at 6clicks, and our latest SSO update is no exception. SSO can now be enforced on all internal team users by restricting access to a domain (for example, 6clicks.com). Users within this selected domain can only access your 6clicks teams via SSO. These updates protect your data and give you more control over your organization's security posture.
We are confident that these updates to our SSO functionality will provide you with a more efficient, secure, and user-friendly experience. If you have any questions or need assistance implementing these new features, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
