As part of our ongoing efforts to improve integrations with the 6clicks platform through our new Developer API, we have introduced enhancements to our Power BI connector and revamped some of the 6clicks dashboards and data visualizations that our users can utilize on Power BI. Today, I’m here to give you a preview of what we have accomplished so far. Read on to learn more about the new 6clicks features and updates that are now available on your Power BI dashboard:

Integration with Power BI

For a bit of background, Microsoft Power BI is a data visualization platform that users can connect to 6clicks to export and organize data surrounding their risk management and compliance activities. Since the release of our new Developer API, we have substantially broadened the range of data we can integrate into Power BI, enabling us to make significant advancements to our data dashboards and improve the experience of our users.

New dashboards

We have developed a series of different dashboards to make it easier for users to get started with Power BI without needing to build everything from scratch. The first in this series is our new Risks dashboard with upgraded features such as:

  • Better view of KPIs: From the Risks dashboard, you can directly obtain a summary of critical KPIs that you need to monitor and keep track of such as open risks, overdue treatment plans, and more.
  • Interactive data: All data from the Risks dashboard is actionable, enabling users to select any data, filter it by date, status, or other criteria, and quickly generate the information they need. Data can also be downloaded in Excel format for convenient sharing.
  • More data visualization formats: The Risks dashboard now displays data using pie charts, bar graphs, and spider graphs, enhancing the clarity and effectiveness of data presentation.
  • Risk tags: Considering some of the most popular feedback from our users, an overview of data for risk tags is now also easily accessible on the Risks dashboard.

Overall, with the new Risks dashboard, users can instantly produce comprehensive reports and leverage impactful data visualizations to make informed decisions. Here’s a short video of me and our new Analytics Specialist, Zerub, showcasing this new capability on Power BI:

What’s next?

Following the Risks dashboard, our Issues and Third Parties dashboards are scheduled to be released soon. We will then look to follow with more compliance-related dashboards, as well as c-suite and board-level dashboards.
