And it begins - or in fact it never stops! The NZ central bank was likely hit by a cyber attack as a precursor to the release of sensitive information on a third-party file sharing service. This follows outages at the NZ exchange NZX mid 2020 and more fines for Air NZ in late 2020 this time for breaching NZX rules (oh the irony!).
Geez NZ, you might need some better risk and compliance...
