Speaker 1 (00:03):

Hey everybody, Steven Walter here. Welcome back to 6clicks TV and the 6clicks podcast. We have a real treat for you today here on the show, taking an episode to shout about ourselves rather shamelessly. I might add, but it is fascinating because we're talking about artificial intelligence. And I'll tell you what, we've come a long way baby. No self-driving cars running red lights and no racist chatbots in sight here. There's been one area promised salvation with ai and those promises have fallen short over and over again, but not anymore. Anyone in risk and compliance is about to get a real shot in the arm and witness the time when traditional practices were well and truly left in the dust. 6clicks is extremely proud to announce the new artificial intelligence engine, which helps underpin the platform following some PhD-led research and development named Hailey. This capability will play an integral role in reducing the cost and complexity of compliance. So we need to get the why and how and the what from the founders of 6clicks, CEO Anthony Stevens, head of cybersecurity, Andrew Robinson, and head of product Louis Strauss. Welcome gents.

Speaker 2 (01:13):

Thanks Steve. You do that brilliantly. Hey Steve,

Speaker 1 (01:18):

And let's go to you first if that's cool. Can you please just share with us the problem that you've been trying to solve with Haley? It seems like to Neanderthal like me, massive potential for the product.

Speaker 2 (01:31):

Yeah, sure. Thanks Steve. So we've been focused on an area related to compliance, and the thing I think everyone should first take into account is to think about the way compliance comes to market or what are the regulations that businesses need to comply with? And generally speaking, these are themes. These are major themes that take place at a global level. Things like privacy, things like cybersecurity. And each of these themes then gets rolled out on a country by country, industry by industry basis around the world. And by definition therefore you get lots of different compliance requirements hitting businesses at a jurisdictional level and industry level and standards body level to such an extent where businesses are now crippled in many cases with compliance obligations. So what we are trying to do with Haley is essentially two things. One is for artificial intelligence within the Haley engine to read and understand and establish some meaning associated with compliance requirements in regulation and other things, and then identify similarities across different compliance obligations so that can be faster and more effective at ensuring their compliance with regulations. So in a nutshell, that's the problem we're trying to solve.

Speaker 1 (03:10):

Excellent, thank you. If it's okay, I'm going to loop back to you about next steps and some customers in a minute. Now ladies and gentlemen, don't be fooled by his youthful good looks. Andrew Robinson has spent a lot of time, many years in the cybersecurity biz. Andrew, what's the cyber challenge that Haley is addressing here

Speaker 3 (03:30):

Other than losing hair throughout all those years? Steven, the challenge is really summed up by one of my favourite quotes actually. Well, one of my favourite work-related quotes anyway, which is the best thing about standards is there's so many to choose from, and that's the thing, if you're in cyber and information security or risk and compliance side of things, then you're often inundated with all these standards, laws and regulations that talked about, what I wanted to actually do was take the opportunity to share the old school way that I used to go about carrying out assessments. And someone give me a nod if you can see it, but is a matrix, which is got a whole bunch of different standards, laws and regulations in this case, yeah, we're looking at ISO 27001 Annex A, but then there's 114 requirements here. We've then got ISO 27001, there's 26 main clauses, and then there's a whole bunch of sub-causes.

Speaker 3 (04:32):

And then we've got, that's just one ISO standard of which there's hundreds and then there's Ara CCPs 234. We've got some versions of the VPDSS, some versions of the Australian government information security manual. What I've tried to do here is map them, and that's what an says is if a lot of organisations are looking to spot the similarities between standard laws and regulations so they can evidence compliance against one and then use that same evidence to demonstrate their compliance to others. And that's the problem that Haley is seeking to solve to give organisations and consultants a more modern way, bring the tech and the AI and the machine learning into risk and compliance to help us identify these relationships and streamline risk and compliance.

Speaker 1 (05:22):

I forgot where I lived, looking at that sheet. Thank you. Now Louis, I would like to move to you if that's okay. Now I just want to work out how this thing works as our head of product and engineering. Can you share with us how this has been going on in the wings, a bit of the history, shed some light on the team that you've had working with you for Hayley?

Speaker 4 (05:44):

Yeah, sure. So I mean, if we just reflect on what Andrew just showed us, the problem space is pretty vast and complex. There's a lot of different sort of what we'd call unstructured data from a of different authorities, regulators, different standard bodies, et cetera. So it's sort of how do we take all that unstructured data, create some structure around it, then pass that, so therefore understand that or get an algorithm to understand that and then sort of do that matching process, which then automates that mapping, that manual mapping process that Andrew has lost all his hair doing. So my team, which consists of a number of great developers, PhDs, machine learning experts, have leveraged a lot of some really great artificial intelligence sort of algorithms and some machine learning and some natural language processing and a little bit of special source. And we've managed to sort of create an algorithm or Haley, which can actually map all these different authorities together at a really confident threshold or so the confidence rating around how each of these provisions, or we call them provisions or different clauses are mapped together. It's really, really impressive and I know Andrew can attest to that as well and a few other people that we've had look over them. So that's really exciting. So yeah, that's where we're up to and now we're just sort of putting the final touches on the user interface and figuring out or working through how the user or the end user's going to engage with Haley and yeah, we can't wait to show everyone what it looks like.

Speaker 1 (07:16):

Unreal. That is fantastic. And back to you now for the next steps with all of that that we've just covered, how do customers like a lawyer or an accountant or an advisor, somebody, how do they get their hands on the tech where to for Haley from here?

Speaker 2 (07:31):

Yeah, sure. So the 6clicks platform has been designed very specifically to be used by a service provider. So as you mentioned, Steve, lawyers, accountants, specialist consultants, and advisors who help their clients with problems in this space. So they can certainly get in touch with us and we can set them up on our platform to be able to get access to Haley to create some of these compliance mappings and other solutions around the space of risk and compliance for their clients. Obviously we work with a lot of businesses as well across a range of different industries, and they can use the 6clicks platform, which is where Haley's going to be embedded. So think of Haley as being a capability that's sort of ingrained into the fabric of the user experience as well as the underlying technology in the 6clicks platform. The other thing we're planning to release in pretty short order is an a p I directly into Haley as a artificial intelligence engine. So I think this is going to be really exciting and of interest to very big, very large organisations, multinational, perhaps financial services businesses, heavily environments around the world where they've got existing systems, they just want access to this intelligence and they want access to technology. That's going to provide some, we think, certainly breakthrough improvements in terms of efficiency and ultimately keeping on top of the compliance challenge.

Speaker 1 (09:15):

Incredible. Guys, I know you're super busy. Thank you very much for your time. To our audience, there is an amazing white paper that is available for you to read in regards to artificial intelligence. And Haley, it's a complete nerd alert, but I promise you it is a cracking read. You can head over to 6clicks.io and download that today. Anthony Stevens, Louis Strass, Andrew Robinson. Thank you very much. We'll see you next time here Cheer.

Speaker 2 (09:40):

Cheers. Thank you mate. Cheers. Thanks,

Speaker 1 (09:41):

Dave. Stay well. Stay safe.
